What you can do with this wireframe tool

A quick, no-fuss way to plan the structure of a website, landing page or app before any design or development starts.

  • Drag and drop layout

Click or drag elements onto the canvas, move them, resize from the corners and snap everything to a grid.

  • Build it with AI

Ask any AI assistant for a layout and paste it into Import. Add notes to elements, copy the layout back, and ask for changes.

  • Browser and phone frames

Wireframe the desktop and mobile versions of a page separately, each in a realistic frame.

  • Start from a template

Choose New to start blank or from a ready-made template with browser and phone layouts.

  • A full set of elements

Heroes, navbars, menus, forms, cards, pricing, accordions, sliders, tables, modals and more, all searchable.

  • Group, duplicate and arrange

Select several elements to move or duplicate them as one, reorder layers and undo mistakes.

  • Save and resume

Name and save projects, then pick up where you left off. Everything stays private in your browser.

  • Fullscreen and mobile friendly

Work in fullscreen on desktop, or tap the canvas to add and drag elements on your phone.

  • Export to PNG

Download the whole page as a high-resolution image to share with clients, designers and developers.

  3. 3

Move and resize them, edit their text, and select several to move them together.

  4. 4

Save the project, or export a PNG to share.

Frequently asked questions

Is this wireframe tool really free?

Yes. It is completely free to use, with no account, no sign-up and no watermark on exports.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Open the page and start sketching. Your work is saved automatically in your browser, and you can save named projects to come back to later.

Where are my wireframes stored?

Only in your own browser, using local storage. Nothing is uploaded to a server. That also means clearing your browser data, or switching browser or device, will remove them, so export a PNG of anything you want to keep.

Can I wireframe for mobile as well as desktop?

Yes. Switch between a browser frame and a phone frame. Each has its own layout, so you can design the desktop and mobile versions of the same page side by side. The page grows as you add content, and you can scroll the canvas.

Can AI create a wireframe for me?

Yes. Copy the prompt from the AI assistant guide, ask any assistant to design your site, then click Import and paste the layout it gives you. You can replace the canvas or add to it, and everything stays editable.

Why use wireframes in the age of AI?

Because the cheapest place to change your mind is before anything is built. Settling the structure first means fewer rounds of regenerating pages, which saves time and tokens. A wireframe also gives an AI tool a precise, unambiguous brief, and gives you and your client something concrete to react to. Moving a box takes seconds, while rewriting generated code takes far longer.

Can I add notes to elements?

Yes. Select an element and type in its Note field, and a yellow badge appears on the canvas. Notes are included when you copy the layout, so you can paste it back to an AI assistant, or a teammate, with your feedback attached and ask for changes.

Are there templates?

Yes. Choose New from the project menu to start from a blank canvas or a template, such as a studio homepage with both browser and phone layouts.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. On a small screen, tap an empty space on the canvas to add an element, drag it to move it, and use the corner handles to resize. There is also a fullscreen mode.

Which elements can I use?

Basic shapes, headings, paragraphs, buttons, images, video, avatars and logos. Form elements including a complete contact form. Navigation such as navbars, pill navs, text menus, burger menus, dropdowns and user menus. And page blocks including heroes, feature grids, CTA banners, cards, pricing, testimonials, accordions, tabs, sliders, tables, modals and footers.

Can I move several elements at once?

Yes. Drag a box around elements, or shift-click to add to the selection, then move or duplicate them together. Ctrl+A selects everything, and Ctrl+D duplicates the selection.

How do I export or share my wireframe?

Use Export PNG to download the whole page as a high-resolution image, ready to drop into a document, a ticket or a message to a client or developer.

Is this a high-fidelity design tool?

No, and that is deliberate. Wireframes are about structure, content hierarchy and flow, without colour or imagery getting in the way. Settle the layout here first, then take it into high-fidelity design or straight into code.

Can you add a feature or fix something?

Yes, please get in touch through the contact page with what you need and I will take a look.

Need a change or a new feature?
